Chennai, May 29, 2024 — In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the Pephands Foundation hosted its annual “Nesathai Nadu” event at Quaide Milleth College for Men in Medavakkam. The event, which took place yesterday, was dedicated to enriching the lives of palliative care patients, including the impaired, elderly, and stroke survivors, along with their families.
The preparations for the event began two days earlier, transforming the college into a haven of comfort and joy. The venue was adorned with handmade crafts and palliative care-themed decorations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A standout feature was the “Dream Tree,” where participants could hang their wishes, adding a deeply personal element to the event.
The day kicked off with free health check-ups, including sugar and blood level monitoring, ensuring attendees could enjoy the festivities with peace of mind regarding their health. This initiative underscored the foundation’s commitment to promoting health awareness alongside providing joy and support.
